With More Than 20 Years’ Experience, Glenney is an eMobility Industry Leader
InCharge Energy, an industry-leading eMobility company offering turnkey commercial EV infrastructure solutions, has announced the appointment of Paul Glenney as Executive Director of Customer Success. Beginning immediately, Glenney’s top responsibilities are to assure successful implementation of EV charging solutions for InCharge Energy’s key customer-partners and to oversee product development of InCharge Energy hardware solutions.
“Paul is well-known in the eMobility space and we are thrilled to count him among our talented staff,” said Cameron Funk, CEO of InCharge Energy. “We trust him to manage some of our most ground-breaking hardware products, which will help InCharge continue to scale and solidify its leadership in the fleet EV infrastructure industry.”
As the new Executive Director of Customer Success, Glenney will touch multiple units within InCharge to ensure premium customer service. InCharge works with some of the country’s largest companies, including Ryder, General Motors and Nissan, which require the oversight of experienced EV charging infrastructure specialists. Glenney will also manage the development and rapid release of InCharge hardware products, expected to hit the market over the next nine months. These advanced products will easily solve some of the fleet industry’s most challenging EV charging infrastructure problems.
“I hope to bring a disciplined approach to product development and release, including lifecycle management, while bringing innovation to the process at the same time,” said Glenney. “I am really looking forward to supporting fleet managers as they set-up and learn to operate electric charging infrastructure, whether that’s through our great customer service or a high-quality hardware product. This work is so important to speeding up EV adoption, which is one of my driving motivations for working at InCharge.”
Prior to joining InCharge, Glenney held senior market development positions at innovative global companies like Hubject, UL, Siemens, NRGEnergy, EVgo, AeroVironment and Faraday Future. Of his many projects at AeroVironment, he oversaw the development of the Architectural Wind product, which resulted in several industrial design awards from Red Dot, ID, Seoul International and others. California State University also named Glenney “Technologist of the Year” for this as well as his work in microgrids. At NRG Energy, he specified the architecture and individual components of the Stationary Storage Plus Electric Charging (SSPEC) pilot, which later won an Energy Storage North America Innovation award.
