InCharge Energy and the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) Celebrate the First Cohort of EV & EV Charger Technician Training Program Graduates

August 5, 2025

Santa Ana, CA – August 4, 2025: At the Logitech Energy training center today, InCharge Energy and the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) celebrated the first group of nine graduates of the EV & EV Charger Technician Training Program over a luncheon hosted for the students and their families. These students successfully completed the 12-week intensive program, with six weeks spent acquiring skills in providing brand- and OEM-agnostic support for electric vehicles (supported by Calex North America) and an additional six weeks developing expertise servicing an array of commercial EV chargers. The program provided participants with unmatched access to technical materials needed for meaningful learning, and they were able to visit and experience “live” EV charging deployments in operation, including Evolectric, Moreno Valley Unified School District, and more.

The event included remarks from the cohort’s three top graduates, who shared what the training meant for their future—a well-earned moment after three months of technical drills, troubleshooting exercises, and real-world practice. The ARC participants’ participation was made possible thanks to generous support from The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation.

InCharge Energy’s training program is designed to address the significant need for well-trained service support technicians as the EV industry continues to expand across North America – while focusing on meaningful support locally for both the technicians themselves and their communities. By 2030, the U.S. will need about 28 million charging ports to serve 33 million EVs (source). Deployment of this infrastructure requires significant numbers of service technicians for support, with most roles expected to be focused on installation, maintenance, and diagnostics.

“With the information I attained from this cohort, I … can showcase the skills that I have learned [for] the EV field. Being a part of a company where I can add value and approach [challenges] with humility, patience, and an ability to constantly learn is paramount to this type of career,” noted graduate Christopher Games in his remarks to the audience.

Logitech Energy has quickly become more than a training space; it’s a proving ground for the next generation of EV infrastructure talent. The facility gives students exposure to multiple EV charger models, diagnostic systems, and real-world scenarios that they’re sure to encounter in the field. That experience directly strengthens InCharge Energy’s InService™ solutions: expert repair and maintenance support for any make or model of commercial charger, since many organizations have multiple types of EVs and more than one EV charger brand installed – and need them all to work together daily.

InCharge Energy offers this robust training to other similarly situated organizations with workforces in need of career-focused training support. Interested companies can contact InCharge Energy to learn more.
